The incidence of cancer is steadily climbing, tumours in the urinary tract being no exception. The following book is an endeavour to give a full account of the progress achieved in cancer diagnosis and cancer treatment and to update the knowledge on tumours in the urinary tract. The book, designed mainly for general practitioners and beginners in urology, discusses the biology as well as various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures used for renal, bladder and ureter cancers. A comprehensive presentation of currently applied methods of treatment recommended by the European Association of Urology and their sound evaluation might be of particular interests to the readers.
